Gallina, ladies’ vocal quartet (Ljubljana, Slovenia) dedicates special attention to Slovenian (folk) music, diverse choral music from the Renaissance to the contemporary period, music of the golden era of Slovenian popular song as well as foreign vocal jazz and pop compositions. The vocation Gallina considers of great importance encouraging young composers to write new choral pieces, thus enriching the treasury of compositions for female voices. In Gallina, four female voices meet: Maša Simčič, Živa Kolenc, Ana Plemenitaš and Višnja Fičor under the artistic leadership of Ana Erčulj.
