Brina Knauss

Artist

The attractive Milan-based music selector Brina Knauss, who pursued a successful career in modelling, is an established name in the world of house music. She started out on her DJ career by performing at high-profile events such as the Milan Fashion Week’s Fashion Vogue, followed by gigs at clubs as prominent as Factory (Milan), Peter Pan (Riccione), the Hollywood Club (Milan), Stardust by Club Haus in Courmayeur (Aosta) and the Buddha Bar in Budapest. In the 2014/15 season Brina was resident DJ of Milan’s celebrated Stardust by Clubhaus venue. In 2015 she was the resident DJ of the B&B event at the notorious Ushuai Club (Ibiza), where she shared the bill with the scene’s top-tier artists, most notably Nico Fanciulli.

Brina Kren

Brina Kren (Novo mesto, 2003) is an instrumentalist, also active in the field of composition. She has worked in various ensembles, including .abeceda [an ensemble for new music], Mango Quartet and Crucial Encounters. She also led the latter and with it as part of the Young Researchers IV program. recorded two albums of original works (2020, 2022). He is currently studying philosophy and musicology at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. She is employed at the .abeceda Institute as a producer and editor of the ARHIV program. She is also active in the field of poetry, which has been published in two collections so far (2018, 2020).

Britof is a trio from Slovenj Gradec, which plays ultra-heavy rock ‘n’ roll with elements of explosive stoner rock, sloweddown doom and sludge metal.

The Broken Lock ensemble, established in 1995, first introduced in its sound elements of harder rock styles, such as punk, heavy metal, grunge, hardcore and psychedelia. Later the group focused on stoner rock.

The Ljubljana-based band Buržuazija, consisting of Rok Molnar, Rok Miže, and Anže Mramor, returned after a brief hiatus with the singles “Hint” and “Paris” and is announcing the release of their second album Vrtiljak sanj, which they will present at Kino Šiška Cathedral. Their sound has evolved from a harder rock style to a modern, danceable mix of pop, disco, and rock. The lyrics are multilayered and deep, and their creative expression is fresh and energetic.

Caged Mind is a Slovenian thrash/groove metal band based in the coastal town of Ankaran. Formed in 2021 by three close friends, the group evolved into a full six-piece by 2025 with the addition of three new members. They deliver a powerful, headbanging energy on stage and thrive on seeing the crowd go wild with them.

Cantabile Symphony Orchestra

The Cantabile Symphony Orchestra made its first public appearance in spring 2011. Although the decision to establish a symphony orchestra was daring and adventurous, the favourable response to their first live performances reassured the artists that they had taken a step in the right direction. Throughout the first five seasons the orchestra achieved both national and international distinction and went on to ambitiously programme new repertoires. The Cantabile Symphony Orchestra has been recognised by professional musicians as a mature music ensemble with a potential to perform even the most demanding pieces in the orchestral repertoire. Young instrumentalists and singers enthusiastically welcome the chance to perform as soloists with orchestral accompaniment.

The Carmina Slovenica Vocal Theatre, led by artistic director Karmina Šilec, is a world-class ensemble that has achieved international distinction as a collective whose choregie (vocal theatre) concept has broadened the expanses of music theatre and reinvigorated the music scene, redefining the existing concepts of vocal music and opening up new spaces of expression, intense experience and communication.
