Celje Youth Centre’s primary objective is to promote new knowledge acquisition and engagement in active leisure activities (film and music festivals, concerts, club and literary evenings, performances, exhibitions, travelogues, themed social events, and culinary and sports programmes). Formerly a sports facility of the gymnastic society Sokol, the venue was renovated on the initiative of the citizens of Cerknica and redesigned as a modern cultural centre. Cerknica House of Culture hosts a variety of theatre performances, music concerts and other events. It is the central cultural institution of the town of Cerknica and its surrounding area, Notranjska Regional Park. Channel Zero club is situated in the squated Metelkova (ex army barracks) now called AKC METELKOVA CITY in the centre of Ljubljana. Channel zero organises approximatelly 100 events per year, mostly concerts and DJ nights as well as various multimedia projects including videoprojections, installations, sometimes theatre as well poetry. Delavski dom Trbovlje (Workers’ Home Culture Institute) was built in 1956. Known for its facade mosaic by sculptor Marij Pregelj, the building features a large theatre hall, a cinema and some small-sized spaces. In addition to hosting theatre performances and film screenings, Delavski dom Cultural Centre provides the venue for numerous exhibitions, concerts and other cultural events throughout the season.
