Tomaž Hostnik is a singer-songwriter, poet, and visual artist. He has written over a hundred songs, performed with Vudlenderji, Drajnarjuva vampa, and Hostnik pa Krečič, and composed music for film and theater. He has won multiple awards, including the Golden Kanta (Kantfest), Best Lyrics (Popevka 2019, 2021), and Best Music (Festival of Slovenian Chanson 2023). He holds a master’s degree in piano from Linz and teaches at the Škofja Loka Music School.

After graduating from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz under Gerald Pachinger, Tomaž Močilnik passed the audition to train in the orchestral academy programme of the Berlin State Opera under Daniel Barenboim. For two years Tomaž had the privilege of gaining experience of orchestral playing and work alongside some of today’s most famous conductors and soloists. Since September 2016 Tomaž has been principal clarinet in the Frankfurt Radio Symphony, an orchestra enjoying high international esteem and holding concerts worldwide.

Organist Tomaž Sevšek gives recitals at home and abroad. He regularly performs with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra and – as a harpsichordist – with the Chamber Orchestra of the Slovenian Philharmonic. He is a founding member of Musica Cubicularis, an early music ensemble, and the Harmonia Antiqua Labacensis Institute.

Slovenian composer and professor of composition at the Faculty of Education in Maribor, Tomaž Svete divides his time between Vienna and Maribor. Svete has produced an impressive operatic output and established himself as Slovenia’s most prominent living opera composer.

Tomi Purich, a drummer from the Slovenian Coast and a graduate of the Carinthian State Conservatory in Klagenfurt, is known as the leader of the festival band Melodij morja in sonca and as a backing musician for Jan Plestenjak, Nina Pušlar, and Lea Sirk. With his debut album #balkanjazz, released at the end of last year, he presents a blend of Balkan, Istrian, and Oriental melodies with an ethno-jazz sound. The album includes folk arrangements, original compositions, and popular songs, connecting traditional Balkan, Oriental, and Istrian motifs with jazz improvisation. Tomi Purich’s trio presented the album during a tour across Slovenia in January 2019.

Tomy DeClerque’s musical output is released by the prestigious world-renowned music labels, such as Intec Digital, BluFin, 1605, Terminal M, Toolroom, Cr2. He also performs as a DJ at important events, such as Awakenings, Ultra Europe. Lately he has worked as a resident DJ at the local Ambasada Gavioli.

Young bassoon player Tonko Huljev has been principal bassoon of the Hof Symphony Orchestra (Bavaria, Germany) for a number of years.

Ljubljana-based TORUL has one of the most extensive international touring schedules among Slovenian music bands. Their sound blends various influences, from electronic music and indie pop to rock.

Martin Ukmar aka Tovariš Strmoglavljen is a prominent representative of the domestic experimental scene - as a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist he is part of various ensembles, and he also creates and performs independently as a singer-songwriter.

The new wave group Tretji kanu (Third Canoe) comes from Novo mesto and performs an array of music styles, ranging from the classic pop song to indie pop, chanson and singer-songwriter narrative style of song writing.
