With his new project, two round robins, Slovenian producer and composer Andi Koglot (Liamere, Ferguson, Monowi Twins) takes us to a sun-drenched plain where birds chirp and a stream gurgles. His debut EP if true return BLOOM can be placed in the broader milieu of contemporary ambient music, especially the more “naturalistic” segment in the tradition of Brian Eno. Koglot subtly constructs his soothing compositions, interspersed with sounds of gentle pads, static, stretched, reversed, reverberated melodies (kalimba, accordion, cranked piano chords) and other atmospheric elements. The performance will be accompanied by an improvised violin played by Margarita Ulokina, creating an organic blend of acoustic instruments and synthetic processing.
