WHO CAN APPLY?

Musicians born after July 1, 1981
The band leader may be older than 45
Bands may include up to 6 performing musicians

Eligible formations:

instrumental bands
vocal bands
mixed bands (instrumentalists and vocalists)

COMPETITION FORMAT

Round 1 – Selection of semi-finalists

Based on submitted applications, including 2–3 recordings of different styles.

Round 2 – Semi-finals (July 3–9, 2026)

Semi-finalists will perform:

• 50–60 minutes in the competition concert hall

• 50–60 minutes in an unconventional venue

• 60–80 minutes in jam sessions

  Repertoire choice is completely free.

Round 3 – Final & Gala Concert (July 10–11, 2026)

Finalists will perform:

• 30–40 minutes in the concert hall

• 30–40 minutes in an unconventional venue

  
  

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Applications must be submitted digitally and include:

• Application forms (Annex A, B, C)

• Audio recordings (mp3/mp4)

• Two group photos (landscape, min. 1 MB)

• Short band biography (max. 10 lines)

• Copies of passports or ID cards (for all members)

• Technical rider

• Proof of payment of the registration fee

All materials must be sent via WeTransfer as a single compressed folder to:

📌 Registration fee: €140 per band

CONDITIONS & PRIZES

• Professional sound system and standard backline provided

• Free accommodation provided for finalists (under specific conditions)

• Total prize fund: €10,000 (cash prizes and concert engagements)

  • Grand Prize: €1,500

  • Best Band: €500

  • Best Vocalist: €500

  • Best Jam Session: €250

• Additional special (non-monetary) prizes may be awarded

JURY

Winners will be selected by an international jury of renowned jazz musicians and professionals. Jury decisions are final.
