After more than a decade of paving the way for Slovenian music abroad, Music Slovenia has secured public funding to fully realize its potential. This roundtable will reflect on Slovenian breakthrough artists of the past decade and look ahead to future opportunities. Topics include: strategy and vision for Music Slovenia’s development, importance for Slovenian artists and industry professionals working internationally, emerging opportunities for potential international partners.

Music Slovenia is a public cultural programme implemented by SIGIC – the Slovenian Music Information Centre (2025–2028). Funded by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia, the programme supports the international presentation and promotion of Slovenian music. Music Slovenia works in partnership with MENT Ljubljana, Druga Godba, KUD MoTA, Zavod Sploh, and other cultural producers actively promoting Slovenian music abroad.

MENToring Session: Activities and Opportunities with Music Slovenia
Mentor: Manca Ogrin (SIGIC, Music Slovenia, SI)
The session is a 60-minute, participant-led meeting with five pre-registered participants. The mentor will provide a brief introduction, after which the focus will be on your questions and discussion. To make the most of the session, review the mentor’s profile, research the topic, and prepare your questions in advance.
