Introducing: New Music Balkans
New Music Balkans is a new flagship playlist dedicated to showcasing music from across the Balkan region. Curated by SoAlive Music Conference in partnership with Audiomack, the initiative highlights new releases and standout tracks from artists working across genres, including pop, rap, R&B, electronic music, alternative, rock, jazz, club sounds, and everything in between.
Alongside the flagship playlist, selected artists may also be featured in dedicated “Best of…” country playlists across the Balkan region, further expanding visibility across borders and audiences. This marks the beginning of a broader regional discovery initiative designed to connect Balkan artists with new listeners, new markets, and new opportunities.
Submissions are now open for artists from across the Balkans who would like their music to be considered for inclusion. Selected tracks may be featured in New Music Balkans, “Best of…” country playlists across the Balkan region, Audiomack’s Balkan Regional Trending Charts, and discovery opportunities reaching over 216,000 active users in the region. In addition, standout independent artists will be eligible for complimentary Boost campaign credits provided by Audiomack, offering additional visibility and promotional support on the platform.
To apply, artists should create or update their profile on Audiomack, upload their music, and complete the submission form. All submissions will be reviewed on a weekly rolling basis by the editorial team, and the playlists will be continuously updated with new discoveries from across the region.
The Balkan music scene is evolving rapidly. Across the region, artists are building new sounds, new communities, and new careers, often across languages, genres, and borders. New Music Balkans is designed to support that momentum by offering a shared platform where music can travel further and reach new audiences.
