The Cantabile Symphony Orchestra made its first public appearance in spring 2011. Although the decision to establish a symphony orchestra was daring and adventurous, the favourable response to their first live performances reassured the artists that they had taken a step in the right direction. Throughout the first five seasons the orchestra achieved both national and international distinction and went on to ambitiously programme new repertoires. The Cantabile Symphony Orchestra has been recognised by professional musicians as a mature music ensemble with a potential to perform even the most demanding pieces in the orchestral repertoire. Young instrumentalists and singers enthusiastically welcome the chance to perform as soloists with orchestral accompaniment.
