Open Call: Artist Residencies at JSKD’s Cankarjeva Centre in Ljubljana (2025–2026)
The Republic of Slovenia Public Fund for Cultural Activities (JSKD) invites artists from Slovenia and abroad to apply for its 2025–2026 Artist-in-Residence program at the Cankarjeva Residency Centre in Ljubljana. This initiative aims to foster international artistic exchange and collaboration with the local creative community.

Duration: 1 week to 1 month

Period: October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026

Location: Cankarjeva Residency Centre, central Ljubljana

Support Provided: Free accommodation and access to JSKD workspaces (by reservation)

Applicants should demonstrate an interest in collaborating with local artists or organizations and present a clear plan of activities for their residency.
Facilities
Residents will have access to:

Two furnished residential units

A multi-purpose lecture theatre for rehearsals, gatherings, and exhibitions

Skladovnica Hall (seating up to 50) for film screenings, performances, and meetings

An art workshop
